David Guetta gears up for another massive summer season by giving us a taster of what we should expect to hear at his legendary F*** Me I’m Famous parties, with FMIF International Vol 2 released on July 28 2008 on Ministry of Sound Recordings. Following on from 2006’s huge FMIF album and 2007’s pan-European platinum Pop Life, FMIF International 2 showcases what has made Guetta the No1 House DJ on the planet. Showcasing both aspects of his character, CD1 is packed with peak-time future hits; the type of tunes he plays weekly at FMIF in Pacha Ibiza. David undoubtedly has a finely-tuned ear for spotting the absolute hottest tunes. CD2 takes you on the type of trip David explores in underground spots like Space, Miami, where he recently played an 8-hour set after clubbers refused to leave until well into the afternoon.
FMIF 2 is out July 28. This year’s Ibiza residency is at Pacha in Ibiza, every Thursday.

HOUSEXY Ibiza Release Date: 14th July 2008
After the huge success of their 10th release last spring and with the summer in full swing, Housexy just had to release another seamless mix by Richard Murray – Housexy Ibiza! Housexy Ibiza is sexier, sassier, and even funkier than Housexy 10 if you can believe it, and whether you’re anxiously anticipating a pending trip to the Balearic Islands, or reminiscing on good times already spent, this sassy double pack mix CD will undoubtedly put you in the summer party mood.
Featuring some of the finest artists who fill the most discerning of dance floors around the world such as
Roger Sanchez, Deadmau5, De’Lacy, Seamus Haji, Mac Project and many more, this album is set to be a winner full of that feel good Housexy sound, and sums up perfectly everything Housexy is about this summer.
Both discs are packed full of classics – with a new twist. For example DJ Spen and Tommy Davis’s ‘Voodoo Ray’ kick off CD 1 – instantly setting the tone making you want to get up on your feet. Other classics are seamlessly inserted throughout the mix including the Soulshaker mix of Robin S’ ‘Show Me Love’, Paul Johnson’s ‘Get Down’ [Laidback Luke remix], and The Jungle Brothers’ ‘I'll House You’. The mood builds nicely throughout the compilation offering something for everybody – dirty basslines from Emanuel + Mc call – ‘Gotta Get through’, big piano rifts from Seamus Haji – ‘Take me away’, and edgy electro tracks such as Deadmau5 ‘Alone with you’. CD 2 takes it a little deeper, building throughout with BIG basslines, and throwing down a nice balance of vocal and electro tracks you’d expect to hear peak time on a Saturday night, the perfect musical journey.
Housexy hosted over 200 worldwide events last year and 2008 is shaping up to top that with 120 already having taken place. Their brand new Ibizan Residency at Club Eden is a huge success, as every Thursday in the funky room alongside Twice as Nice one of our Housexy residents have been dropping their own brand of funk filled sassy grooves to the dancefloor full of the best dressed (but naked of inhibitions!) party goers on the planet!

This new compilation is an eclectic and intelligent non stop mix of spine tingling tracks after all it features Brian Eno, Tom Waits and The Cranberrys. You will adore and revisit this album many times, you don’t believe me? – you’ll see for yourself once listened to. If you are expecting a package of 3 full on party mixes then prepare to be disappointed, this is a 3 cd package with 3 very different mixes showcasing all the best characteristics of Mr Webster’s music. CD 1 is the most uptempo of the selection with ultimate classics like Kings of Tomorrow – ‘Changes’, Rosie Gains Closer than Close and Moody Man – I can’t kick this feeling when it hits.
CD2 is melodic to the extreme; it is a tremendously laid back and relaxed mix that would be perfect for anyone having a post club chill out session.
But its CD3 that is the key. It is 12 of Charles very own productions, displaying his musical ability. It includes his latest Furry Phreaks creation ‘All Over The World’ with Terra Deva (the supper talented and beautiful vocalist from New York) which will also be released as a single via Defected.
It’s also important to explain that Charles has his own and much-feted label Miso Records, where he continues to produce his own records as well as working with other luminaries such as Tracy Thorn and Robert Owens.
People love Charles. DJs love him for making their jobs easier…producers love him for the inspiration he provides…his loyal fanbase love him because they can trust him to deliver time & again. Twenty odd years in the game and Charles has the RESPECT of several generations of music lovers.

Toolroom Records head honcho Mark Knight puts the needle to the record for the latest offering from the label’s compilation series. The 4th album in, and already Toolroom Knights has firmly cemented itself into dance buyers lives, offering a taste of what the label and their parties are all about – quality, forward-thinking House. Rather than simply pull together a collection of big club records, Mark’s opted to paint a musical journey reflective of his extended club sets using long drawn-out mixes, layered with tools obtained exclusively from friends inc. Peace Division and Swedish House Mafia

Clued-up clubbers may also know The Montanas as their alter-egos Morjac and Teamsters, producers of the likes of ‘Stars’ and ‘Feels Like Love’. Hailing from Denmark – the home of many a dance and pop hit – Morten Lambertsen and Jacob Johansen get together with legendary dance music veteran, DJ Roland Clark, the force behind dance music classics ‘Alright’ by Urban Soul and South St Player’s ‘Who Keeps Changing Your Mind’, for the instantly infectious ‘Music Talkin’. A feel-good anthem in the making and one that’s cut from the same cloth as Daft Punk’s ‘One More Time’, ‘Music Talkin’ is powered out of the blocks by an in-form Fred Falke with Joey Negro limbering up for the next push. Released: Released: 07/07/08

Legs are aching, because bones were shaking all night long. The sand pressures under the nails, the seared skin strings over the exhausted muscles while the feet cannot satnd still. How they could? They danced for hours so that not dancing feels like the abnormal situation. Slowly the dark blue shifts out the sky and the abounding stars disappear from firmament. At the horizon the light pushes the darkness away and after a while you identify its weapons: It is the interplay of galactical colours the darkness is afraid of. And then it backs down. The light grey tones are turning into violet and change into this deeper and deeper orange, before this big red ball rises behind the clear defined horzion. The air smells like salt and the crystal sounds, deep grooves, enlightened harmonies and phat chords are giving you creeps again and again and again. And who could be the better man than Babak Shayan, from cologne, to mix up these impressions, feelings and sensations in one astounding high quality DJ Mix with style. For this, the guy releasing tracks on numerous labels, choosed only the best tracks of modern, atmospherically minimal TechHouse like Nick Curly’s “Silom”, Terry Lee Brown Junior’s “Wait” (feat. Robert Manos) and “Escape From The Madness” from Rob Pearson vs. C-Soul Feat. Robert Owens in the driving Timewriter Remix
